Pay attention to the choice of reliable UPS equipment
Choosing reliable equipment will affect the overall cost of your UPS system. The most important point when comparing the values of confidence coefficient given by UPS manufacturers is to pay attention to its robustness and stability. Make sure every manufacturer uses standard calculations in making their products. |
The following definitions are considered as standard parameters. Examine a parameter that is very different from other parameters.
Confidence factor The coefficient of reliability of a UPS system determines how much power the machine can perform for its intended purpose (uninterrupted power supply with a suitable power supply) within a specific time frame. Defect This parameter indicates the inability of a UPS to perform the tasks intended for it. Device failure can be internal or due to an operating environment outside the device.Note: The bug usually “causes the quality of the device to decline but does not always cause system failure. Error Error is an abnormal physical state such as a fault in the design of the device, difficulty in making it, inadequate raw materials, impact, depreciation, and so on. Error represents the error of a system; in other words, the status of the system differs from that defined for it.
MTBF MTTR Definition of MTBF MTBF values for a UPS are valid only if calculated in terms of MTBF UPS and MTTR UPS. |
Error rate (λ) The error rate is a statistical parameter and, based on the probabilities, states that the system that has been operating for a specified time t will not be damaged in the intervals below. Availabity Availabity is a useful scale (annual non-working time) for measuring system failures and repairs, based on the probability that the device operates at time t. |
